Outpatient Addiction Treatment Near Monmouth Beach, NJ
Monmouth Beach is a narrow shore borough between the Atlantic Ocean and the Shrewsbury River, with Ocean Avenue (Route 36) running along the beach. For residents looking for drug or alcohol treatment, Seacrest Recovery Center NJ provides outpatient care about six miles inland at 162 Main Street in Eatontown.
Driving from Monmouth Beach
The drive is about 6 miles and usually takes 15 minutes or a little more. From the center of Monmouth Beach, take Monmouth Boulevard west, then continue on Port au Peck Avenue through Oceanport to Eatontown Boulevard (County Route 537). Follow it to Broad Street (Route 71) and on to Main Street in Eatontown. In summer, beach traffic along Ocean Avenue can be heavy, so heading inland on Monmouth Boulevard early is usually the better choice.
Taking recovery seriously in a small shore town
In a borough this small, it can feel like everyone knows everyone. That is one reason many Monmouth Beach residents choose treatment a few towns away rather than right at home. Seacrest Recovery Center NJ is a private center, and your care is confidential. You will have a therapist who knows your history and a group of peers working through the same challenges, and you still return to your own home each day. If you are coming to us after a stay somewhere else, outpatient care can be the next step that keeps your progress going.
Which level of outpatient care fits?
There is no single program that suits everyone from Monmouth Beach. After an assessment, our clinical team recommends one of three outpatient levels:
Partial Care Program (PHP). The most structured option, with treatment during the day and weekly individual therapy, for people who need close support but can safely sleep at home.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Several days a week of group and individual work, often the next step after partial care, or a starting point for people with steady routines.
Outpatient Program (OP). A lighter schedule that keeps recovery on track once work, school and family life are back in full swing.
Mental health is part of every level. Our co-occurring mental health care addresses anxiety, depression, trauma and other conditions together with the addiction. Learn how dual diagnosis treatment works.
If you need detox or residential care first
If you need to get through withdrawal before therapy, detox comes first. Eatontown does not provide detox on site. Clients who need detox are referred to Seacrest’s Willard, Ohio detox (willardohiodetox.com) or a partner detox facility, whichever works best for the client, then begin outpatient care in Eatontown. Eatontown is outpatient only. If residential care is needed, admissions coordinates a placement with a sister or partner facility.
Our admissions team handles those arrangements and plans your return to outpatient care in Eatontown. See why detox comes before outpatient rehab.
