Outpatient Addiction Treatment Near Ocean Township, NJ
Ocean Township in Monmouth County, which includes Oakhurst, Wanamassa and Wayside, sits just south of Eatontown along Route 35. (It is a different town from Ocean Township in Ocean County.) Seacrest Recovery Center NJ, at 162 Main Street in Eatontown, provides outpatient drug and alcohol treatment about five miles from the center of the township.
How to get here from Ocean Township
The drive is about 5 miles and usually takes 10 to 15 minutes. From central Ocean Township, take West Park Avenue to Route 35, then follow Route 35 north into Eatontown, where it becomes Main Street. Route 35 is a busy commercial corridor, so weekday afternoons can add a few minutes. Residents of Wayside, on the western side of the township, may find it quicker to reach Eatontown by local roads.
Structure without stepping away from your life
Many of the people we see from Ocean Township are balancing careers, children and households. Outpatient care is designed for that. You get consistent therapy, accountability and a clinical team who knows your story, and you still handle the things that cannot wait. Treatment also looks at what is underneath the substance use. Stress, anxiety, depression and past trauma are addressed directly in individual sessions, not left for later. If a stable place to live is part of the challenge, read about staying in a sober living home during outpatient rehab.
Outpatient care at 162 Main Street
Seacrest Recovery Center NJ is an outpatient treatment center. Clients from Ocean Township live at home and come to Eatontown for structured care at the level that fits them:
- The Partial Care Program (PHP), our most structured level, with a full daytime schedule and one-on-one therapy every week.
- The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), several days a week, for people who need real structure but also need to keep up with work or family.
- The Outpatient Program (OP), a lighter schedule of group and individual sessions while you rebuild daily life.
- Co-occurring mental health care for anxiety, depression, trauma and other conditions, treated alongside the substance use rather than separately.
If you need detox or residential care first
Sometimes the right first step is detox or a residential stay. Eatontown does not provide detox on site. Clients who need detox are referred to Seacrest’s Willard, Ohio detox (willardohiodetox.com) or a partner detox facility, whichever works best for the client, then begin outpatient care in Eatontown. Eatontown is outpatient only. If residential care is needed, admissions coordinates a placement with a sister or partner facility.
Our admissions team handles those arrangements and plans your return to outpatient care in Eatontown. See why detox comes before outpatient rehab.
